On the Dunn farm at Dunnsville (now Lloyd Gray) about 1000 feet southwest of the house, enclosed by an iron fence.

On the farm of the late Peter J. Ogsbury, about 1200 feet southeast of the house where formerly stood the old Miller house in 1811. Laney Miller and other Miller's are buried here. No stones are visible now.

On the Dunnsville Hotel property, 250 feet west of the hotel, on the bank of the "Wilde Hause Kill" about 15 stones were standing in 1875. The following are known to have been buried here.

On the old Wagner farm of 1760, one half mile south of Dunnsville, 100 feet west of the Dunnsville-Altamont road enclosed by a stone wall. This plot is full of graves. Twenty-five stones are visible.

On the old Isaac J. VanAernam farm, Settles Hill, now John Richard farm, 700 feet northeast of the barn are thirty gravestones. Five of' them are inscribed as follows:

On the John E. Young farm on Settles Hill, about 400 feet south of the house, on the south side of the road, in a corner of a stone wall are four headstones with no inscriptions. The Reelman's are buried here. They lived there in 1818.

On the old Brewer farm, late Elmer Crounse, about 10 feet west of the barn in the orchard, about 15 people are buried.

On the original Kaley farm, now William W. Pangburn, about 100 feet west of the barn on a knoll about 20 people are buried. Twelve stones can be seen. The others have none.

On the Lavinia VanWormer farm five feet east of the north and south fence line and fifty feet south of the road to Settles Hill are four stones.

On the old Vanderpool farm late Charles Bassler, Settles Hill. About 400 feet east of the house is a plot about 100 feet square enclosed by a stone wall are twenty-four gravestones of which fourteen are common field stones.

On the old Pangburn farm, Parkers Corners, late Norton Hallenbeck, about 500 feet southeast of the church, on the south side of the road are twenty stones and there seems to be more graves without markers.

On the old Shell farm, now Abram Miller on the old Kings highway, a mile east of Parkers Corners on the South side of the road 500 feet southwest of the barn on a knoll are three white stones and seven field stones.

On the old Veeder farm, late Herman Gray, about 1000 feet southwest of the house and 150 feet west of a ravine, close to where stood the old house. The writer saw stones there many years ago. It is being worked over now.

On the Abraham Moore farm on the north side of the Great Western turnpike, onehalf mile west of Fullers, N.Y. about 600 feet northeast of the old house well, two field stones are visible.

On the Colonel Abraham Wemple farm, now the Watervliet Reservoir, about 300 feet northwest of where the old brick house of 1760 stood and on the north bank of the Normanskill Creek by a hickory tree are two field stones.

Another burial plot on this farm is about 1000 feet east of where the brick house stood and at the foot of the highland owned by Johannes Vrooman at his death in 1785. The deed to this place says:
Adam Vrooman and wife were buried here prior to 1801.

On the old Showdy farm, now Millard Cowan at Knowersville, 150 feet north of the house, 12 stones were visible.

On the old Featherly farm, now Max Besser, about 300 foot southvvest of the house across the Black Creek there were nine stones in 1914. Now none are standing.

100 feet south of this plot is a plot containing colored people, five stones are still visible. Also about 500 feet north of the house on the east side of a fence are six stones. This is the burial place of John Crounse, the son of Frederick, the soldier.

IN THE TOWN OF GUILDERLAND

On the old Ostrander farm near the Cobblestone school house, these graves are under the woodpile close to the house. Here are buried the early members of the early Ostrander family of the town of Guilderland. The gravestones have been laid on the graves about a foot underground.

On the Henry S. Gilbert farm, (William Pangburn farm prior to 1830). On the Kings highway one fourth mile north of Fullers, N.Y. close to the rear of the house. These burials were probably made before 1830. In December 1936, the present owner Frank Polak, while digging a drain in the rear of the house opened two graves exposing well preserved skulls and bones.

On the old VanHeusen farm southeast of Guilderland Center, at the fork of the road, and back of the barn east of the road, enclosed by a fence are stones with inscriptions as follows:

On the Dunn farm at Dunnsville (now Lloyd Gray) about 1000 feet southwest of the house, enclosed by an iron fence.
On the farm of the late Peter J. Ogsbury, about 1200 feet southeast of the house where formerly stood the old Miller house in 1811. Laney Miller and other Miller's are buried here. No stones are visible now.
On the Dunnsville Hotel property, 250 feet west of the hotel, on the bank of the "Wilde Hause Kill" about 15 stones were standing in 1875. The following are known to have been buried here.
On the old Wagner farm of 1760, one half mile south of Dunnsville, 100 feet west of the Dunnsville-Altamont road enclosed by a stone wall. This plot is full of graves. Twenty-five stones are visible.
On the original Ward farm, late owned by Dr. D.H. Cook, on the road from Dunnsville to Altamont and 125 feet west of the barn. Most of the seventeen stones are of the common field type.
On the old Van Valkenburgh farm, late Peter Walker, about 1200 feet west of the house, 15 stones are visible.
On the original Scrafford farm on Settles Hill, late owned by George Bond, 200 feet east of the house, contains 19 common field stones with no inscriptions besides the following:
On the old Isaac J. VanAernam farm, Settles Hill, now John Richard farm, 700 feet northeast of the barn are thirty gravestones. Five of' them are inscribed as follows:
On the old Vine farm now Charles P. Crounse, 300 feet northeast of the house, and 10 feet east of the road.
On the William H. Furbeck farm on Settles Hill, and about 80 feet north of the house are 5 gravestones as follows:
On the John E. Young farm on Settles Hill, about 400 feet south of the house, on the south side of the road, in a corner of a stone wall are four headstones with no inscriptions. The Reelman's are buried here. They lived there in 1818.
On the old Brewer farm, late Elmer Crounse, about 10 feet west of the barn in the orchard, about 15 people are buried.
On the original Kaley farm, now William W. Pangburn, about 100 feet west of the barn on a knoll about 20 people are buried. Twelve stones can be seen. The others have none.
On the old Mesick farm now Clarence Martin about 250 feet southwest of the house are six gravestones.
On the Lavinia VanWormer farm five feet east of the north and south fence line and fifty feet south of the road to Settles Hill are four stones.
On the old Vanderpool farm late Charles Bassler, Settles Hill. About 400 feet east of the house is a plot about 100 feet square enclosed by a stone wall are twenty-four gravestones of which fourteen are common field stones.
On the A. F. Pangburn farm, now William Brehm, Dunnsville, about 100 feet south of the line fence between Brehm and Herman Gray, on a little knoll.
On the old Grote farm Altamont, now Dr. D.W. Sweeney, about 400 feet north of the house are thirteen stones.
On the old Pangburn farm, Parkers Corners, late Norton Hallenbeck, about 500 feet southeast of the church, on the south side of the road are twenty stones and there seems to be more graves without markers.
On the old Weaver farm on the old Kings highway, a mile north of Fullers, N.Y. late John Livingston, about 300 feet west of the house in a corner of the fence, north side of the road.
On the old Shell farm, now Abram Miller on the old Kings highway, a mile east of Parkers Corners on the South side of the road 500 feet southwest of the barn on a knoll are three white stones and seven field stones.
On the old Veeder farm, late Herman Gray, about 1000 feet southwest of the house and 150 feet west of a ravine, close to where stood the old house. The writer saw stones there many years ago. It is being worked over now.
On the Abraham Moore farm on the north side of the Great Western turnpike, onehalf mile west of Fullers, N.Y. about 600 feet northeast of the old house well, two field stones are visible.
On the Colonel Abraham Wemple farm, now the Watervliet Reservoir, about 300 feet northwest of where the old brick house of 1760 stood and on the north bank of the Normanskill Creek by a hickory tree are two field stones.
Another burial plot on this farm is about 1000 feet east of where the brick house stood and at the foot of the highland owned by Johannes Vrooman at his death in 1785. The deed to this place says:
On the old Showdy farm, now Millard Cowan at Knowersville, 150 feet north of the house, 12 stones were visible.
On the Captain Jacob VanAernam farm of 1760, now Oakley Crounse, and adjacent to the south side of the D and H railroad tracks enclosed by an iron fence, are nineteen stones.
On the old Andrew Keenholts farm, now John Severson, in Altamont, 150 feet northwest of the barn are seven stones.
On the Adam Westfall farm, Settles Hill, about 300 feet south of the house, a little east of the road, eight stones are visible.
On the old VanAuken farm, now Walter Petrie, on the south bank of the Bozen Kill Creek and 600 feet east of the house on the west side of a stone wall fence. Eleven stones are visible.
On the old Severson farm of 1760, now George H. Brandel, about 100 feet east the house at Altamont are forty-five stones visible and other graves with no markers.
On the old Gray farm, on Settles Hill, late Emmett Gray farm about 150 feet east of the house. Twelve stones are enclosed by a stone wall fence.
On the old Conrad Chism farm, now the Watervliet Reservoir, near the edge of the water on a little knoll, on the flat land east of the house of Harry Jeffers. Three stones are standing. More are buried here.
On the original Sharp farm, now Walter A. Sharp on the north side of Western Turnpike about 400 feet east of the barn, partly enclosed by an iron fence.
On the late Charles Schoolcraft farm, about 150 feet northwest of the house against a side hill are seven stones.
On the original Lainhart, now Charles S. Lainhart, ninety-three yards north of the barn and twenty-six yards west of the road, enclosed by a stone wall fence are:
On the old Featherly farm, now Max Besser, about 300 foot southvvest of the house across the Black Creek there were nine stones in 1914. Now none are standing.
On the Kelly Scrafford, on Settles Hill about 400 feet northeast of the house, are:
On the John Z. Smith farm south of French’s Hollow bridge.
On the farm of H. Wilson Crounse, formerly Frederick farm, about 100 feet southwest of the house are eight stones.
On the old Becker farm, now Ivan Cornwell, on the north bank of the Bozen Kill Creek on the hill against a stone wall fence, at the end of the old bridge.
On the original Crounse farm late Leonard Crounse, 100 feet west of the house near a stone wall six stones are visible.
100 feet south of this plot is a plot containing colored people, five stones are still visible. Also about 500 feet north of the house on the east side of a fence are six stones. This is the burial place of John Crounse, the son of Frederick, the soldier.
On the old Livingston farm at the foot of the Indian Ladder, late Jacob A. Relyea, 300 foot east of the barn in the corner of a stone wall fence.
On the old Henry VanAernam farm, late Seward Crounse, southeast of Altamont, about 200 feet southeast of the house and on the west side of the road.
On the original Ogsbury farm, one mile south of Guilderland Center, late the Whitbeck farm, about 400 feet northwest of the barn are fourteen stones.
On the old John Howard farm, late Gardner C. Leonard, near the LaSalle institute, Altamont, on a knoll at the left of the stone house is the Howard burial plot.
In the rear of the house is the slave burial plot where eight stones are standing.
On the old Peter Lagrange farm, late Thomas Gillespie about 600 feet southwest of the house near the fence. The stones are laid one foot under the ground on the graves.
On the farm of Frederick C. VanWormer, formerly about 450 feet northeast of the house, are nine stones. Five of them are graves of children.
On the old Siver farm now Peter Livingston, 500 feet west of the house on the north side of the road are some field stones.

  • IN THE TOWN OF GUILDERLAND
    On the old Ostrander farm near the Cobblestone school house, these graves are under the woodpile close to the house. Here are buried the early members of the early Ostrander family of the town of Guilderland. The gravestones have been laid on the graves about a foot underground.
    On the Henry S. Gilbert farm, (William Pangburn farm prior to 1830). On the Kings highway one fourth mile north of Fullers, N.Y. close to the rear of the house. These burials were probably made before 1830. In December 1936, the present owner Frank Polak, while digging a drain in the rear of the house opened two graves exposing well preserved skulls and bones.
    On the old VanHeusen farm southeast of Guilderland Center, at the fork of the road, and back of the barn east of the road, enclosed by a fence are stones with inscriptions as follows:
    On the old Myndert Lagrange farm southeast of Guilderland Center.
    On the old VanHeusen farm near the Wormer School house about 600 feet northwest of the house, four white stones are standing and five graves with no markers. Those inscribed are as follows:
    On the old Veeder farm, now known as the old Nott Homestead southeast of Guilderland near the Normanskill Creek.
    On the old Relyea farm, north of Voorheesville.
    On the old Hallenbeck farm, near Cobblestone School and a few yards southwest of the house.
    On the old George F. Crounse farm a mile south of Altamont on the private road to the house on the left side of this road about 500 feet from the house are the following graves and probably others.
    On the old Michael S. Frederick farm, later Amasa Wright, about 200 feet southwest of the barn enclosed by a fence are the following graves, besides eight common field stones with no inscriptions.
    On the original Frederick farm, owned by Alfred Frederick 1939, about 100 feet east of the house are these graves:
    On the old John Fryer farm now Grant Fryer, on the south side of the road running past the house about 500 feet southeast of the house on a knoll.

  • TOWN OF KNOX
    On the old Brunk farm, now 1932 the Ketcham farm at the head of the Indian Ladder road there are thirty graves with field stones with no inscriptions and five with inscriptions as follows:

    Lee’s Church Cemetery.
    On the old Lewis Farm next west of Lee’s church and on the east side of Merrill Baker's stone wall fence on a knoll north of the highway.
    On the old Ostrander farm south of the Bozenkill Creek.
    On the old William Snyder farm in the Bozen Kill hollow road leading to Lee's Church, and west of George J. Williamson house, twenty-seven gravestones have inscriptions and twenty-five have no inscriptions.
    On the old Williamson farm now Gage farm northeast of Lee's church and about 400 feet north of the road leading to Bozen Kill hollow, on the north side of this road about 400 feet and on the west bank of a ravine a few feet west of the old red house.
    On the old Quackenbush farm on the road leading east from Lee's Church, and about 1000 feet north of the barn along an old stone wall fence. This graveyard is enclosed by a low stone wall fence. Fourteen stones are visible, nine which are common field stones, four of them adults and five of them are children. The following are white stones.
    Wolford Family Burying Ground. Copied September 25th, 1937. Location, Knox-Gallupville Road 1½ miles from Knox. Begin on your left in field on Wolford farm.
    Wilber Farm burying ground. From Lee’s church turn right .7 mile, burying ground on your right in a field.
    Orlup Family burying ground. Copies August 26, 1936. Location: Altamont-Township Highway, turn up middle road at Township (East Township) proceed .8 mile, turn in to right at swing gate - walk to left to stone wall fence, burying ground surrounded by stone wall.
    On the old Christopher Keenholts farm, late Jacob Lewis, about 200 feet west of the house are fourteen stones.
    On the farm of Billespie Lawyer, about 400 feet west of the house of the late Charles Seabury on the north side of the road are nine stones.
    On the old Barent Lewis farm, now Peter VanBuren, 300 feet east of the D and H railroad bridge, twenty stones are enclosed by a stone wall fence.
    On the Jacob Eldridge place, west of the house, on the north side of the road in the woods.

  • TOWN OF BERNE
    On the road from Berne to East Berne, pass the school house, take second left dirt road to second house on right, S. Kamjathy's, the old Zeh farm southeast house.
    On the right side of the road from Thompson’s Lake to Warner's Lake on the Aaron Warner farm. In 1874 there were sixty-five gravestones on this plot. There are now in 1939 nine white stones with inscriptions. The others have none.
    On the Church Cemetery at Thompson's Lake.
    An old grave yard in the woods where the church burned on the road from East Berne to West Berne.

  • TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND
    On the original Thomas Beebe farm, now 1939, John Weidman farm on the road leading from Guilderland Center to Voorheesville southeast of the house take a left hand lane west of a stone wall fence land about 500 feet down this wagon track, on the west edge of this track under a black cherry tree are:

  • TOWN OF BETHLEHEM

    On the William Moore farm, now owned by William Weisheit, on the crossroad near Wemple Station. A few feet southeast of the front of the house on the bank of a ravine is one gravestone broken off at ground.
    A mile northeast of Slingerlands, at end of private road on Christian Lagrange farm.

  • IN THE TOWN OF PRINCETOWN, SCHENECTADY COUNTY, N.Y.
    On the farm of Wesley Blessing about 1200 feet south of the house and about 50 feet south of a stone wall fence were three stones, which are now buried in the ground on the graves.
    Another burial place on this farm about 250 feet northeast of the house and about 160 feet south of the highway in an orchard, were three stones now buried in the ground on the graves.
    On the old Jeremiah Vanderpool farm, now George VanWie about 1000 feet south of the house on the north bank of a ditch formerly stood six stones, no inscriptions. A family by the name of Covine owned this farm prior to 1800. It is said some of this family are burried here.
    On the old McDonald farm, now George McClaine, about 500 feet north of the house across a ravine in the corner of a fence are fourteen stones.
    On the old Bearup farm, now James A. Wemple, about 300 feet east of the house in the orchard are twenty stones.
    On the old Passage farm, late Abram Fryer, about 600 feet, north of the house of John McDougal, eight stones are visible.
    On the old Gifford farm, near the fork of the two roads about 200 feet southeast of the church are seventeen stones. The first owner of this land was Peter Vandervolgen.
    On the Edward Pangburn farm about 500 feet southeast of the house in an orchard are seven stones.
    On the James Robison farm, about 600 feet west of the old house across a ditch are six stones.
    About 400 feet northwest of this above plot is another burial plot. No markings are here now.
    On the old Brougham farm, now Clarence Gray and about 300 feet east of the house on the south bank of the Creek.
    On the Joseph Kaley farm, formerly and about 600 feet west of the north and south road, on a knoll under a hickory tree are two stones.
    On the old Kittle farm, now John Stensel, and about 600 feet north of the barn and 30 foot north of a stone wall fence. Depressions in the ground would indicate that fifteen graves are here. No stones are, visible. Members of the Kittle family are known to have been burried here.
    On the old Adam Kaley farm, now Ira Livingston, about 600 feet east of the house.
    On the old log church Presbyterian burial ground in the corner of or junction of two roads leading to Rynex Corners near the Bradshaw farm.

    On the old Valk farm, late William Snyder, about 450 feet southwest of the house is the family burial plot.

    On the old VanPatten farm 300 feet west of the house on the east bank of the Normanskill creek on a knoll. Now Kesebergh farm 1939.

    On the old Abram Wemple farm, late J.K. Wemple about 300 yards west of the house, enclosed by a fence are twenty-two stones.
    On the Garret Waldron farm 150 feet southwest of the house are seven stones.
    On the old Vought farm late Rufus Crounse, about 600 feet southeast of the house on a knoll enclosed by a stone wall.
    On the John Alexander Ferguson farm about 450 feet east of the house under an elm tree were sixteen field stones on the north side of the Western Turnpike. No inscriptions.
