Mindiptana, capital of Muju subdivision, has been built along the River Kao. Surrounded by woody hills
and grass lands it makes a friendly impression. Mindiptana has been an administration center since 1946.
Since 1942 it has been the center of the Roman Catholic Mission for the Muju area.
